9:00 A delicious start to the day – meeting at a cafe

Introduction, coffee and light breakfast

We will start our journey in a cozy cafe, where all participants will be able to get to know each other, chat and enjoy a delicious breakfast. This is a great opportunity to set the mood for a pleasant day, share expectations and simply feel the comfortable atmosphere in a pleasant company. The menu includes aromatic coffee, fresh croissants, cheeses and other traditional Dutch delicacies. A hearty breakfast will give us energy for a busy day. After that, we set off on a journey - to beautiful views and impressions!

10:00 We set off on a journey in a small and comfortable minivan.

Deeper acquaintance with the participants of the trip during the move

It will take us about an hour to get to our first stop in the cozy town of Enkhuizen. During our trip, we will get to know the participants of the trip better, talk about ourselves, and learn a lot of interesting things about our destination.

11:30 Arrival in Enkhuizen

Walking around the city

We will walk through the charming historic city center with a view of the harbor and IJsselmeer lake. We will see the famous Drommedaris tower - a 16th century defensive structure that has become a symbol of the city. We will walk through the old streets, see traditional Dutch houses, ships and a miniature replica of a lighthouse. There will be time for a photo break, a quick coffee or an ice cream by the water.

1:00 PM. Transfer to the city of Urk

We will drive along a huge dam for more than 30km

We depart from Enkhuizen on a scenic route across the famous Houtribdijk dam, a 26 km road that separates the IJsselmeer and Markermeer lakes. During the trip, you will see water on both sides, windmills, seagulls and boats. This is a great opportunity to take panoramic photos from the bus window. Estimated travel time is 1 hour.

14:00 City Urk and lunch

Walk, lighthouse tour and lunch

Ourk is a charming fishing town with a unique atmosphere and rich history. Upon arrival, we will take a walk along the harbor, where we will see traditional wooden boats, old houses and a monument to the fallen fishermen. Then we will climb to the main symbol of the city - the Ourk lighthouse, built in the middle of the 19th century. If it is open, the observation deck offers a magnificent panorama of the IJsselmeer lake and the surrounding provinces. After the walk, we will visit a restaurant or fish bar on the embankment, where a traditional lunch will be waiting for us: freshly fried kibbeling, herring or other fish dishes, with salad and fries. This is the perfect moment to relax and enjoy the local flavor by the water.

16:00 We leave for the town of Giethoorn

It’s time to enjoy the most enchanting part of the trip – a boat trip along Giethoorn’s famous canals. We’ll board a silent electric boat and set off on a journey through narrow canals lined with greenery, flowers and old thatched cottages. During this leisurely journey, we’ll sail under wooden bridges, see picturesque gardens and take photos of the village’s most beautiful views. It’s the perfect way to experience the peaceful atmosphere that has made Giethoorn a favorite destination for tourists from all over the world.

20:30 - 22:00 Return to Amsterdam

After an eventful day, we board the bus and head back to Amsterdam. It’s a great opportunity to relive all the moments of the day, share photos, impressions, and just relax after a busy trip. Estimated arrival time is 10:00 PM. We say goodbye, but only until the next adventure! 😊
